Toronto Location of Visual College of Art and Design

Our Toronto campus is located on 543 Yonge Street in the core of downtown Toronto.

Conveniently located near Wellesley Station, VCAD Toronto's  campus is easily accessible via subway, buses, and streetcars and is within walking distance of numerous shops and restaurants.

As the most populous city in Canada, Toronto is also recognized as the city of neighbourhoods. Venture a few blocks north of the campus and you’ll hit Yorkville, a flourishing shopping area filled with high end boutiques, hotels, and restaurants. Head south of the campus and you’ll reach Yonge and Dundas, the epicenter of Toronto and home of the largest mall in the city, the Eaton Centre. The campus is also within walking distance of the Royal Ontario Museum (affectionately known as the ROM), The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), The Annex, Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Italy, The Danforth (a.k.a. Greektown), and much more!

Situated near the entertainment and fashion districts, VCAD Toronto's campus is the prime location for those who are passionate about art and design. Toronto has also become home to Scotiabank’s French-inspired all-night event, Nuit Blanche. Transformed for a single night from dusk until dawn, Nuit Blanche features hundreds of interactive displays by contemporary artists.

Studying in the downtown core also gives students the opportunity to experience the multiculturalism the city has to offer. Students can celebrate the diversity by taking part in numerous annual events such as Pride Week, Taste of Danforth, and the Japanese Summer Festival.
